Miranda Lambert has rescued around hundreds of dogs and other animals who have been stranded in Houston and surrounding regions due to the devastating 'Hurricane Harvey.'

The country music superstar has mobilized her 'MuttNation Foundation' to ensure the safety of dogs, cats and other domestic pets displaced by the tropical storm that made landfall in Houston this week.

Lambert and her organization, which she founded in 2009 and promotes pet adoption, have rescued and relocated at least 233 animals from the natural disaster's path over the past three days.

The 'MuttNation Foundation' announced they saved 40 more dogs, 38 cats and 21 other pets from local shelters that are now receiving medical treatment, reports E Online.

The charitable organization is working tirelessly to bring the displaced animals to safety, and to find them food and shelter until attempts can be made to reunite them with their owners.

According to a series of Instagram posts both on the foundation's official Instagram page and the singer's own personal Instagram, the two have been hard at work, rescuing and relocating approximately 72 pets in Hurricane Harvey's path.

Many celebrities have also pitched in to help support those impacted by Hurricane Harvey's devastation.
