Pakistani captain Misbah-ul Haq has said that he is not bothered that he is being branded a 'jackal' on the field despite his side's continual poor performance against South Africa in the ongoing ODI tour.
According to the Express Tribune, Misbah said that he is a fighter who would not go down easily, adding that he would continue playing for Pakistan as long as he is fit and performing.
Although he was irked by his 'jackal' tag given to him by certain portions of the Pakistani media, Misbah, however, said that he does not mind the tag, adding that if a fighter who is fighting on the field is labeled a jackal, then he is happy to be called one.
The right-handed batsman further said that the critics who were blaming him needed to assess his performance with the bat.
