Miss Universe Olivia Culpo's date with Tihar inmates

Miss Universe Olivia Culpo and social activist Sanjana Jon visited the Tihar Jail and took a pledge along with the inmates to stop violence against women.

The 21-year old beauty pageant titleholder seemed quite enthusiastic visiting the prison and admitted that it was the most beautiful prison she has ever seen.

She said, "I think you have done a terrific job and thanks for having me here. 13, 000 people are living here. It's nice to see that. I saw a slogan on my way 'Hate crimes, don't hate the criminals'. It's so sweet."

Jon, the founder and President of IG International, said, "We all will take pledge today that we all will fight against this heinous act and will remove this from our country and the second thing is that we all will stand for women empowerment".

Culpo is on a 10-day mission to create awareness on issues such as celebrating the birth of a girl child, women empowerment and AIDS awareness in India.
