Christopher McQuarrie would be directing the latest 'Mission

McQuarrie twitted "Mission: Accepted," on Monday afternoon, confirming that he has been signed on to direct the 5th part of the spy series, the New York Daily news reported.

Cruise also tweeted confirming the news.

The latest Mission: Impossible would be the follow up to 2011's box office hit, 'Mission: Impossible IV - Ghost Protocol', which had earned 695 million dollars at the box office worldwide.
