Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday held a preliminary meeting with the officials of the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) and stressed the need to resolve people's grievances on a fast track basis.
He emphasized on leverage of modern technology and develop systems and processes for effective monitoring and resolution of issues which are particularly brought to PMO.
An official release issued in New Delhi said Modi also indicated that he would like his office to consider issues, especially those raised by the states, on priority.
He added that this is important because country's progress lies in the progress of states and this will strengthen the federal structure.
The Prime Minister also underscored the importance of addressing the concerns raised by people's representatives personally or through Parliamentary procedures.
