The local police today found bodies of a mother and her daughter locked inside a flat in the E block of Prateek Laurel building of Noida.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dr. Preetindra Singh confirmed the report saying that prima facie it seems that the bodies are three days old and there were few injury marks also.
"Two bodies were found in a flat on the fourth floor of the building. One is of Parul and the other one is of her four years old daughter. The neighbours saw the family last on July 16 and since then the flat was locked. Today when the neighbors smelled something foul from the flat they informed the police and then the team reached the spot. We got the internal lock of the flat opened and went inside after that we found two dead bodies. The reason will be cleared only after postmortem but prima facie it seems that these dead bodies are around three days old," said Singh.
He added that the police is trying to trace the woman's husband who has been missing since July 16.
"The woman's husband is missing since July 16, we are trying to trace his call details and we have found that yesterday an accident has happened at Greater Noida zero point in which a Wagon R car which had a CNG kit and it caught fire on the expressway due to which the driver died. We are trying to identify it but we have found that the boy whom we are looking for is Nitin, he works in Yamaha and the family shifted three to four months ago," Singh added.
