Multiple explosions have rocked Wardhigley district near the presidential palace in Mogadishu in Somali.
Government officials and witnesses said that several people are feared dead, Xinhua reports.
District Commissioner of Wardhigley District Yassin Nor Isse confirmed the incident which he said took place at "15 May School" in Wardhigley district.
Yassin sad that there were mortar shells which were fired near the presidential palace in Mogadishu
He added that initial reports said it caused civilian casualties but couldn't confirm that for now.
