Mumbai: Additional foot over bridge sanctioned for Elphinstone railway station

Railway Officials on Friday said that one additional foot over bridge has been sanctioned for Mumbai's Elphinstone railway station.

The Railway Officials confirmed that a tender has been floated and that 9.5 crore rupees have been sanctioned by the Railway Minister.

This comes after, 22 people were killed and over 39 seriously got injured in a rush-hour stampede at Mumbai's Elphinstone railway station's foot over bridge today.
