The Mumbai Police have confirmed that 19 people have been extracted till now, after a four-storey residential building collapsed in suburban Ghatkopar, Mumbai on Tuesday.
The police said that until seven in the evening, nineteen people were extracted, out of which nine have been declared dead.
Out of the nine dead, seven are women and two are children, one female and one male.
An FIR has been registered.
Earlier today, a four-storey residential building collapsed in at L.B.S. Marg, near Shreyas cinema, Damodar Park, Ghatkopar, following which a rescue operation is underway.
