'Namaste', 'Howdy': Mangalyaan, Curiosity Rover engage in space talk

NASA also congratulates Isro on its success

Isro's Mars Orbiter Mission and Mars Curiosity Rover engaged in space talk, moments after India created history by placing the Mars Orbiter Mission into the Martian orbit in its maiden attempt.

Mars Curiosity Rover congratulated Isro and India on its interplanetary mission via its official Twitter account.

Isro's Mars Orbiter's official Twitter account replied to the tweet saying "Howdy MarsCuriosity? Keep in touch. I'll be around."

 


Earlier, NASA had also congratulated India and Isro on the micro-blogging site.
