Naxals kill seven policemen in Bihar's Aurangabad District

Atleast seven policemen were killed in a Maoist attack in the Nabinagar area of Aurangabad District in Bihar.

The incident took place at around 4.30 p.m.

"The cops had gone to a meeting in Nabinagar area of Aurangabad. After the meeting, they were returning to Tandwa police station, when their jeep was blown up in a landmine blast, laid down by the Maoists" said Ravindra Kumar, Additional Director General of Patna.

The Police are investigating the crime scene. Further details are awaited.
