Nelly was recently arrested for possession of meth, however, his lawyer is now challenging the charges, claiming that the drugs weren't his.
Nelly was taken in on his tour bus in Tennessee, after the vehicle was pulled over by cops for not having proper stickers, and then further searched, which allegedly revealed meth, marijuana and guns, TMZ.com reported.
The 40-year-old rapper's lawyer, Scott Rosenblum, defended saying that there were 15 to 20 people who could have been in the bus before the stop, and various people were on the bus at the time of the search as well.
Rosenblum said that "a small quantity of [MDMA/Ecstasy] was discovered" and that "Nelly will not be associated with the contraband that was allegedly discovered.
