Nepal's Budget session begins

The budget session of the Nepal's Legislature-Parliament began Tuesday.

Based on the recommendation of Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli, President Bidya Devi Bhandari called the second session of Parliament, reports the Himalayan Times.

Speaker Onsari Gharti read out the President's letter at the House while beginning the session.

The House is set to hold pre-budget discussion from tomorrow and President Bhandari will present the government's policy and programme at the Parliament on May 8.

Meanwhile, the next meeting has been scheduled for 11 am tomorrow.
