The whole nation knows about the infamous mid-air fight between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover and perhaps it is the most controversial chapters of their lives.
However, neither Kapil nor Sunil broke their silence on the subject and clarified their stance on what truly happened between the two that led to their fallout.
At the trailer launch of his upcoming movie 'Firangi', when Kapil was questioned about the incident once again, he denied having an argument with the comedian.
"I never really had a fight with him, I love him a lot. Since reaching Australia my mood was very bad. Someone from the film had died, and I tried to meet Maansaab, which didn't happen, plus a death to deal with. I became so nervous and negative. The only positivity was Maansaab. When the show was starting there in Australia, we were only two people. I had a fight with a childhood friend. However, nobody knew about it because that wasn't famous."
The comedian maintained that he still loves Sunil and would love to reunite with him for a show but the latter is busy with another show in Canada.
He added that he was sad that none of his colleagues from 'The Kapil Sharma Show' denied the rumours of him hurling a shoe.
Kapil also spoke about the incident when Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma had to cancel the promotions on his show due to his ill-health.
"Shah Rukh sir came to meet me after I cancelled the shoot since I was unwell and he asked me to take a break since I was not well. I took a break from the show and locked myself up and began drinking very heavily," noted Sharma.
