ThrowBack, a photo sharing app that was unveiled last year, has reportedly found a place on Android.

ThrowBack was rolled out a year back after its founder Calli Higgins used the idea for her master thesis.

After researching why certain images pang us while others don't, Higggins realized nostalgia was conjured by revisiting something one hasn't seen in a while, Tech Crunch reported.

Higgins said that ThrowBack was an alternative to the current overexposure of one's images and the numbness this could create.
