A Seattle-based company, Bombsheller, allows its consumers to create their own clothing and then delivers the customized garments by return of post.

The company owned by Pablos Holman, a computer programmer turned would-be fashion mogul came up with the idea of world's first programmable clothes factory, the Independent reported.

The new company operating via the internet, would allow customers to submit their own eye-catching designs for leggings as well as modifying sizing and even the length of the garment, which would be then delivered free worldwide for about 40 pounds.

According to Holman, the cycle for fashion was too long and constrains creativity, which took months from concept to product.

The owner asserted that fashion had a lot to gain by welcoming computer technology and could change the economies of scale so that it was just as profitable to make one of something as it was to make 1,000, which could reduce the environmental damage caused by shipping materials all over the planet.

Holman added that computers printed the design, in one's size, and it was sewn by seamstresses who were getting paid 100 times as much as a factory worker in Bangladesh.
