Japan's Takara Tomy Arts have reportedly come up with Lumi Deco Nails that light up when near-field communications (NFC) signals are nearby.

According to Cnet, these fingernail stickers have built-in LEDs that light up when detecting Android smartphones, tablets, mobile wallets, video game controllers, and other NFC-enabled devices.

Lumi Deco Nails, which give the impression of fresh-manicured nails, come in a variety of colorful designs, the report added.
