People can now print out your favorite dishes like burgers and pizzas using a new 3D printer machine for food called Foodini.

Lynette Kucsma, co-founder of Natural Machines, the company behind the novel machine, which was featured at the Web Summit technology conference in Dublin, said that the it was just like any other 3D printer, but instead of printing with plastics, it deploys edible ingredients out of stainless steel capsules, the CNN reported.

The makers have highlighted that the machine uses fresh ingredients, and has been designed to prepare the difficult and time-consuming parts of food, which must be then cooked as usual. But they were working on creating pre-packaged plastic capsules that could be loaded into the machine, and produce ready to eat dishes.

Kucsma explained that there was a touchscreen that connected to a recipe site in the cloud, and users would also be able to control the device remotely using a smartphone, and share their recipes with the community.

He added that they had tested the machine and the food was liked was everyone.

Kucsma said that the "mini food manufacturing plant," which has been priced at around 1,000 dollars, was targeted mostly at professional kitchen users and would be available in the market in 2015. However, they had plans to make a consumer version as well.
