A new study has revealed that 72 percent Muslims in America approve of President Barack Obama.
The study conducted by Gallup based its finding on a sample population that consisted of young Muslims mostly, Politico reported.
James Zogby, president of the Arab American Institute linked the findings of the survey to a general feeling of mistrust between American Muslims and the Republicans, the report added.
In tune with Zogby, Haris Tarin, the director of the DC office for the Muslim Public Affairs Council, also attributed the poll results to the trauma invoked by the Bush administration amidst Muslims post 9/11 attack. He also added that the conversations initiated by the Democrats are more inclusive in nature than the Republicans.
