Obama's daughters criticized for 'classless' outfits at thanksgiving event
US President Barack Obama's daughters, Sasha and Malia Obama, were recently condemned for their outfits at the annual turkey pardoning event at the White House.
A Republican official called them disrespectful and classless for their choice of attire at a Thanksgiving ceremony, the BBC reported.
Elizabeth Lauten, communications director for Republican congressman Stephen Fincher, made her comments in a Facebook post. It was heavily criticized and subsequently deleted.
Lauten, however, later apologized for her "hurtful words.
