'Ola Rentals' expands to 85+ cities in just six months

Taxi aggregator Ola on has announced the expansion of 'Ola Rentals' to simplify intra city travel with affordable hourly packages on Ola Lux, Ola Prime Sedan and SUV as well as Ola Mini.

Launched in July last year, India's most popular mobile app for transportation has witnessed tremendous growth, selling over lakh of hourly packagers since it was launched.

It is now planning to expand rental to 100 cities.

Ola Rentals has emerged as a new favorite amongst customers; with metros like Chennai, Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai as the top markets for the category. Users have the benefit to choose from 2 hours 30 kms, 4 hours 40 kms, and 8 hours 80 kms for a seamless Ola Rental experience straight from the Ola app.

"Ola Rentals offers you a single cab that stays with you for the whole day. The category offers quality cabs with top rated drivers handpicked and trained to offer a consistently superior experience," said CMO and Head of Categories at Ola, Raghuvesh Sarup.

"Rentals has also become a favorite among our driver-partners. They have the option of utilizing their time better and be more productive, making them earn higher," added Sarup.

Bringing hatchbacks, sedans, SUVs and luxury cars as well as high rated drivers along with all in-app safety features like SOS button and live tracking of rides; Ola Rentals address the unique needs of executives, senior citizens, tourists and individuals who'd like to have a vehicle at their disposal, waiting on them, as they move from place to place.
