Sometimes actors put a lot of dedication in their work to make it more realistic, even if it involves getting slapped right in the face!
Oscar Isaac, who recently stopped by 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert', shared his admiration for the late Carrie Fisher and recited a funny incident that took place while filming a scene with her in 'Last Jedi'.
He said, "A large amount of the stuff I got to do was with Carrie, which was amazing. I remember the first day of shooting was a scene with Carrie. I remember it was a scene where I come up and talk with her, and she is very upset with me and slaps me."
Continuing, "And Rian Johnson, the director, kept doing it over and over. I think it ended up being 27 takes of Carrie just leaning in. And every time she'd hit like a different spot on my face."
The 38-year-old-actor also shared that later Fisher was the funniest, down to earth person he ever had the opportunity to work with.
Isaac further shared a funny incident of how he tried to initially keep his 'Force Awakens' script after wrap, which he was supposed to give back, and finally did when Disney mentioned the lawyers were looking for it.
'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' is scheduled to release on Decemebr 15 in the US. The movie stars Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, Benicio DelToro, Adam Driver and late Carrie Fisher.
