Pakistan has reportedly announced a preliminary 30-man squad for the ICC World Twenty20 tournament, to be held in Bangladesh in March and April.
T20 captain Mohammad Hafeez, who led Pakistan to a semi-final finish in the last World T20 held in Sri Lanka in 2012, is expected to lead the team, which also won the 2009 event held in England.
According to The Dawn, wicketkeeper-batsman Kamran Akmal, who led Pakistan to runners-up spot in the inaugural World Twenty20 in South Africa in 2007, and former captain Shoaib Malik have also been included in the squad.
The fifth edition of the World T20 will be held in Bangladesh from March 16-April 6, the report added.
