Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is holding a high level meeting of the National Security Committee in Islamabad today.
The meeting is being attended by the federal ministers, military leaders and other high officials.
The meeting will review progress in ongoing anti-terrorism operations and the country's overall security situation, reports Dunya News.
Situation along the Line of Control (LoC) and Pak-Afghan border management will also be discussed during the meeting.
According to data compiled by South Asian Terrorism Portal, 366 people have lost their lives and around 1137 sustained injuries in terrorism-related incidents in Pakistan since beginning of 2017.
