Pakistan has demanded the United States to put a stop on drone attacks and not just ease the strikes, the FO has said.

Speaking at the weekly media briefing at the Foreign Office in Islamabad, spokeswoman Tasneem Aslam said Pakistan's view on drone attacks was clear - to put an end to them.

She added that the method was unacceptable and Pakistan's stance on the issue had also received support from the international community, Dawn News reports.

Earlier last year Adviser on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz reportedly had also said the US drone strikes in Pakistan must end.
