Pak, US to review progress on strategic dialogue

Pakistan and the United States have agreed to review the progress on their strategic dialogue process.

Foreign Office spokesperson said Advisor to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Foreign Affairs and National Security Sartaj Aziz and US Secretary of State John Kerry would co-chair the strategic review meeting, Dawn News reports.

However, the dates for the meetings have not yet finalized, but it was confirm that the review was scheduled to take place in Washington.

The spokesperson said that there were five working groups for cooperation in different sectors and three of them had already met, while two other groups on counter-terrorism and defence were yet to meet.
