Parents around the world are taking a musical turn for their 'Elf on the Shelf' setups as they are creating a Drake-inspired 'Hotline Bling' display.

Elf on the Shelf is a recently started holiday tradition in the weeks leading up to Christmas, where parents pose a toy elf overnight for their kids to find in the morning, reports TMZ.com.

Kristen Dipini from Dale City said that she and her husband got extra creative for their three kids this year.

She added that her kids love Drake and the 'Hotline Bling' song, so she set up 'Elfis' just like his music video 'Sunday morning.
