Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has commented on Monday upon the reports of making the Dalit students sit separately at Pariksha Pe Charcha event held at Delhi.
There were reports of making the Dalits students sit separately at a school in Shimla to attend a live video conference session of Prime Minister's address in Pariksha Pe Charcha.
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur touted the incident as unfortunate and claimed to seek a report regarding the matter at hand.
He said, "We got this information and have asked for a report on it, will have to wait until the details come out, but if it has happened it is unfortunate".
The 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' event took place on February 16.
