Ace novelist Paulo Coelho has voiced his support for King Khan, who was last week detained at the Los Angeles airport by US immigration department officials.

According to an Express Tribune, the Alchemist writer said these things are a part of life.

"It also happens in the masterpiece 'My name is Khan'. @iamsrk , we know that life imitates art," he tweeted.

68-year-old Coelho had earlier expressed his fondness for the Bollywood superstar and said that he loved his work in 'My Name is Khan'.
