Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who talks highly of India's progress, appreciated a music video depicting the same which was posted by Bollywood composer Shankar Mahadevan on Wednesday.
He tweeted, "Lovely composition @Shankar_Live! For many, it brings back memories of 'Breathless.' Like your song, 125 crore Indians are working nonstop for India's progress!"
Mahadevan earlier in the day tweeted the song.
"A tribute to our vibrant nation and the new heights of development we are scaling. Jai Hind! ????#IndependenceDay2018 Hon'ble PM @narendramodi," he tweeted.
His 'Non-Stop India!' song appreciated the initiatives undertaken by the Prime Minister like 'Skill India', 'Jan Dhan Yojna', 'Start-Up India' and the famed 'Swachh Bharat' campaign. In the song, he says that such initiatives have brought in a much-needed vigour amongst India's youth.
His song also didn't fail to mention that in the current regime, the armed forces are giving a befitting reply to the terrorists who try to infiltrate India's borders.
Shankar Mahadevan is an Indian singer and composer who is part of the trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Together they compose songs for Bollywood.
