Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who today chaired a meeting of the BJP parliamentary party, has directed his Cabinet colleagues to highlight the government's achievements before the nation as it completes two years in office.

Talking to the media after the meeting, Minister of State for Skill Development Rajiv Pratap Rudy said that a review was done of the business in both the Houses of Parliament.

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the government is going to complete its two years and said it is high time that we should work towards taking all the schemes initiated by the government to the people of the nation, adding that it is time to make our countrymen aware about the achievements of the government by carrying the message of development across the country," he added.

The BJP-led NDA Government will complete two years in office on May 26 and the occasion will be marked by celebrations to showcase achievements that have helped the nation prosper.

The government's campaign 'Zara Muskura Do' (Smile Please) will consist of citizen centric initiatives like the Jan Dhan scheme, Deen Dayal Gram Jyoti Yojna, LPG 'Give it Up', Crop Insurance Scheme, Digital India, Swachh Bharat mission and others.

All the ministries have asked to prepare a list of successful programmes undertaken by them in the past two years which could be publicised.
