Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday urged information technology experts to explore ways to boost mobile governance.

Addressing the 18th National Conference on E-Governance through Twitter, Modi said his government is keen to create a robust digital infrastructure for citizens as also to transform their lives.

Reiterating the government's commitment to realize the Digital India dream, he said e-governance is an essential part of the project.

He said there is a need to infuse more technology for better governance.

Technology and e-governance will make processes simpler and remove several obstacles that slow down the pace of work and progress, he added.
