PM Modi inaugurates projects undertaken with grant-in-aid in Dhaka

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated six projects undertaken with grant-in-aid during his visit of the Indian High Commission in Dhaka.

During the event, he unveiled plaques of the projects and interacted with the beneficiaries of the various ventures.

Ministry of External Affairs official spokesperson Vikas Swarup shared the information via a series of tweets.

"Reaching out to Bangladesh directly. PM inaug 6 projects undertaken with grant in aid & interacts w/ beneficiaries"

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Modi offered prayers at the Dhakeshwari Temple in the city. He also visited the Ramakrishna Mission here.

He is later scheduled to receive the Award of Liberation War Honour on behalf of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Bangabhaban in Dhaka.
