Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan on Tuesday advised Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to work along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the betterment of the state.
"The PM as well as the CM both have come for the first time to their respective houses. Both have the newness and they must maintain a balance between them," said Mahajan.
"The mandate that we get from people is their faith that they repose in the politicians and hence fulfilling the faith is very important," she added.
The Lok Sabha Speaker was talking after inaugurating the two-day orientation programme for the members of the Delhi Assembly.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was the Guest of Honour at the inaugural ceremony.
