The Pornographic industry has halted its operation after one of the actors tested positive for HIV.

The performer's identity has not yet been released and officials failed to answer when the positive test was recorded.

The adult actor's sex partners are in the process of being tested for the disease by doctors with Adult Production Health and Safety Services.

Diane Duke, executive director of the industry trade group the Free Speech Coalition, said that the moratorium will be lifted once the risk of transmission has been eliminated, CBS News reported.

Duke added that the actor is not believed to have gotten infected on a film set.
