After creating waves at the recently held 89th Academy Awards ceremony, 'Lion' actor Sunny Pawar today met Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray after returning from the US.
Uddhav, along with his son Aditya and other members of the party, greeted Sunny and posed for pictures with the young star.
The eight-year-old, earlier in the morning, received a grand welcome from his family and other near and dear ones at the airport.
Sunny rose to global fame with his Oscar-nominated film starring Dev Patel and Nicole Kidman. Sunny was appreciated for his role as young Saroo Brierley in the flick.
