A pregnant woman was allegedly strangled to death in the wee hours of Saturday by a co-passenger when she objected to the latter smoking a cigarette onboard a train.
Speaking to ANI, Officer-in-charge of Government Railway Police, Shahjahanpur, AK Pandey confirmed that the accused, Sonu Yadav, was smoking in one of the upper berths of the train following which the woman objected to the same.
