President Pranab Mukherjee on Monday interacted with students of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Sarvodaya Vidyalaya at President's Estate on the occasion of Teachers Day. He gave a lesson to around 80 students of Classes XI and XII.
During the interaction, President Mukherjee talked about India's political history, its development since independence and menace of terrorism in the country and across the world.
On the occasion, the President urged teachers to promote students to ask questions. He said they must take care of innovation in students.
President Mukherjee also presented National awards to teachers for their distinguished services. He also received the first copy of a booklet Umang 2015 which was released by Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia.
