President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have congratulated the M.S. Dhoni-led Indian Cricket team for their victory against West Indies in the 2015 ICC World Cup.
"Congrats Team India for victory against West Indies. Good wishes for success in future matches," President Mukherjee said in his tweet.
Prime Minister Modi on his part lauded the Indian team and said the Men in Blue seem to be having a great tournament.
"Congratulations to the Cricket Team for the win against West Indies. The Men in Blue seem to be having a great tournament!" he tweeted.
India advanced to the quarterfinals of the ICC World Cup after defeating West Indies by four wickets earlier on Friday.
