Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is reportedly being eyed by Paris-Saint-Germain (PSG) for a whopping 100 million dollar deal.
PSG will pay 40 million pounds to United as a transfer fee for Rooney and give him an annual salary of 15 million pounds after tax deductions for a four year contract, The Mirror reports.
According to the report, Rooney's wages in PSG will equal him to PSG's current striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic who will shift back to Italy this summer just one season after moving from AC Milan.
The report said that the new Ligue 1 champions will face competition from French rivals Monaco, while Chelsea and Arsenal will also compete on riches to be offer to the striker amid reports of Rooney's fear that he will be forced out of the Old Trafford following David Moyes' official joining as United's manager from July onwards.
While the United has revealed Rooney's talks with former United manager Alex Ferguson for a transfer request, he said that he had not made the request officially and hoped to negotiate a new contract.
Rooney's decision to stay on at the Premier League winning club or move to PSG will be awaited, as the striker will have to choose whether he wants to continue with a competitive team, or accept the tempting offer from the French club.
