Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) club president Nasser al Khelaifi has rebuffed Real Madrid's approach to take manager Carlo Ancelotti to Santiago Bernabeu.
The discussions took place amid speculations that Real head coach Jose Mourinho will be leaving the Spanish club to return to the Stamford Bridge club, Chelsea, the BBC reports.
The report said that Ancelotti was sacked by Chelsea in 2009 as the team did not win any silverware, but PSG won their first French Ligue 1 championship since 1994 under Ancelotti's guidance.
While the Italian manager has said that he is unsure whether or not he will stay at the French club as he is yet to speak to Khelaifi about his future at the club, Khelaifi has denied Real, claiming that Ancelotti will stay on at the club for one more year until his contract ends.
