The Queen's Baton Relay for the 2014 Commonwealth Games, to be held in Glasgow, has reportedly arrived in Pakistan.
The titanium, wood and granite Baton, which is travelling 190,000 kilometers around the world ahead of the Games, was accompanied by the Commonwealth Games officials and officials from the Pakistan Olympic Association.
According to the Express Tribune, the Baton will be formally unveiled at Minar-e-Pakistan on Friday and will then head to Colombo, Sri Lanka on October 18.
The report mentioned that the Baton carries a signed parchment containing a message from the Queen of England for the athletes who participate in the Games.
The Baton, which started its journey on October 9, 2013, will tour the 70 Commonwealth countries in Asia, Oceania, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, North America and Europe, before returning to Scotland on June 14, 2014, the report added.
