Thunderstorm accompanied by heavy downpour are likely to occur in parts of Uttar Pradesh in the next few hours, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Monday.
The rains are expected to hit Agra, Mathura, Aligarh, Sambhal, Raebareli, Sitapur, Bahraich, Mainpuri, Kanpur Dehat district, Etawah, Auraiya, Farrukhabad districts and adjoining areas.
Light rain was received in some parts of the city on Monday that led to fall in the temperature.
In recent days, rain and thundershowers were witnessed at many states namely Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, West Bengal, Odisha, East Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and Konkan and Goa.
