IAS Secretary,Textiles Rashmi Verma inaugrated the "Shresthkriti" Exhibition along with the launch of cottage premium brand on January 19th in the presence of Alok Kumar IAS, DC Handlooms, A. Madhukumar Reddy IRTS, Jt. Secretary, Ministry of Textiles and Pramod Nagpal Managing Director, CCIC at Central Cottage Industries Emporium Jawahar Vyapar Bhawan.
The exhibition showcases handcrafted creations by Shilpguru's and National Award Winning Artisans and Weavers including unique artifacts, paintings, wooden panels, antique oil lamps, brass handicrafts, marble arte-facts, painted wooden arte-facts, dhokra, pottery, paper mache, saree, shawls, and home linen.
The exhibition will continue till January 31st from 10 am to 7 pm. The highlight of the exhibition was the new launch of "Cottage Premium"- an exquisite collection of highly exclusive and very limited collection of handicraft and handloom products for the connoisseur of crafts.
