Readdle releases Scanner Pro 6 for iOS

Readdle has released an update of its scanning app called Scanner Pro 6 for iOS.

Readdle makes apps to deal with PDFs and other documents. Scanner Pro turns the users iPhone or iPad into a portable scanner.

According to thenextweb.com, the update is free to existing users.

Also, the developers are running a launch sale if the users are downloading it for the first time dropping the price to USD 2.99 from the usual USD 6.99.

The company says it tested the utility with over 5,00,000 documents to create the new Scan Radar feature which automatically detects images of documents in the users camera roll.

It also has an automatic scanning mode that allows the users to scan documents simply by pointing their iPhone at them.

For the users, the app also has one-click One Note and One Drive integration for uploading their scans.

In other new features, the update adds a re-edit mode which allows the users to adjust their scans long after they have captured them, switching between colour and black and white and modifying margins.
