Wayne Rooney is going to decide about his future at Manchester United this week, in another get-together with new Manchester United boss Moyes, after an approach from Arsenal was turned down for the striker.
According to the Mirror, Europa League Winners Chelsea have also been trying to acquire the England player, who is Moyes' top priority in his plans for the next season.
The report said that Moyes, who took over from Alex Ferguson on Monday, has already let Rooney know that he wants him to stay and is going to convince the player about his future by outlining his specific role in the side, in a face-to-face meeting with the striker and his agent, Paul Stretford.
The report also mentioned that the new manager is ready to give Rooney all the assurances he wants, including not being overlooked for big games like he was last season under Alex Ferguson.
