Rumer Willis commends her parents' efforts to maintain relationship stability

Rumer Willis has praised her parents, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, for the way they handled their very public divorce 15 years ago.

The 26-year-old actress said that she never had to split up vacations or split up birthdays as they always made an effort to do all of the family events still together and made such an effort to still have their family be as one unit, as opposed to two separate things, which she thinks really made an impact, People Magazine reported

The 'Dancing With the Stars' contestant noted that she thinks one of the hardest parts was growing up with having the whole life kind of be on display and have people have an opinion about it, adding that before people learn how to kind of get a tough skin or to really just have confidence in who they are without letting other people's opinions affect that, that can sometimes be really hard and really get them down.

She added that she has learned a lot of the integrity that she tries to hold for herself and everything that she does and the value that she tries and put out in the world from her mom.

She said that Moore, who is very strong, always says, "Live in whatever your integrity is, and go out to the world and present yourself how you want to present yourself and how you want people to see you.
