Russian troops stormed an air base in Crimea.

The move is seen as an apparent attempt to solidify Russian control over the peninsula.

According to Fox News, a journalist reportedly was injured in the incident after six vehicles stormed through the gates of the Belbek air base.

Russian troops reportedly fired warning shots into the air and set off stun grenades, and then lined up Ukrainians in one place after they made it inside the base.
