Ryan Reynolds recently opened up about the time when he realised that he and Blake Lively were more than just friends.
The 39-year-old actor and his wife met while filming 'The Green Lantern,' becoming close friends and then, taking their relationship to the next level, reports E! Online.
Talking about their first date in a recent interview, Reynolds said that he and Lively were buddies then, adding that for about a year after 'Green Lantern' had come and gone, they both were single. They went on a double date.
The 'Deadpool' star added that she was on a date with another guy and he was on a date with another girl, but since the now married couple was like fireworks coming across, it was awkward for their respective dates.
Reynolds also said that he feels that the best way to have a relationship is to start as friends.
