Senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officer S.K. Sinha has been appointed as Special Director of the Intelligence Bureau.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has appointed Sinha, Additional Director, IB, to the post of Special Director, IB, with effect from the date of joining the post and up to 31.10.2019 i.e. the date of superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
